| The Cheese Yard in Devon
During the break, The Cheese Yard headed down to Devon to relax a little and try some of the local cheese. How could we possibly visit the West Country without sampling the delicious delights of one of the country's great cheese producing areas? It was certainly a labour of love... Devon Blue and Ticklemore Goat were two of our particular favourites. They are two wonderfully creamy cheeses that we enjoyed while sitting in the sun and washed down with some very fine local cider. It was especially good after our mixed efforts of surfing for the first time and swallowing far too much sea water (which we really don't recommend - the sea water consumption, not the surfing!). Cheese of The Month - Stilton
This great traditional British blue cheese with it's distinctive pattern is best matured for 3 months to give a rich flavour to go with a creamy texture. Stilton Cropwell Bishop is available in our Yard Cheeseboard Selection , Blue Selection and Father's Day Selection. Please do visit our Cheese of The Month page to find out more...
