The Cheese Yard was formed in 2008 by two friends with a passion for good food and a love of cheese. In January 2011 we joined forces with Ansteys of Worcester to ensure we continue to bring you the finest cheese on offer. So our enthusiasm is complemented by many years of cheese making expertise and experience.

 

Ansteys are suppliers of traditional farmhouse cheeses, situated south of the city of Worcester beneath the beautiful Malvern Hills. We at Ansteys are passionate about great food,we love and enjoy the best things in life (!).

Cheese is at the centre of our life. We started cheesemaking here over 28 years ago, originally using the milk form our own pedigree Friesian cows.

Artisan cheeses are still made in the dairy using the rich milk from the Severn valley and being third generation of farmers here at Broomhall Farm we understand and care about our countryside. We know that properly made and cared for food gives the ultimate flavours and taste.

We now source the finest cheeses, primarily form Britains' great makers, but also from the continent and further afield. Our knowledgable and experienced team love, live and understand these products.

We love cheese.

Producing artisan cheeses takes dedication and time and the team from Ansteys ensure that ony the best available cheese is selected for the Cheese Club selections.
